Doha: 8 former officials, including 2 Indian navy commanders arrested for spying for Israel in Qatar, may be sentenced to death.
According to the Indian newspaper, 8 retired officers, including Indian navy's high-ranking military award-winning commander, prnanda tiwari, were working in al-zaheera global technologies and consultancy services in Qatar.

Eight former Indian navy officers were detained by the state security bureau of Qatar in August last year. Two of the 8 navy personnel arrested were commanders.

Eight former Indian navy officials imprisoned in Qatar have been charged with spying for Israel.

In this case, the chief executive officer of the private defense company, including the head of Qatar's international military operations, is also arrested and eight officers of the Indian navy were also employed in the same company.
